I received a Pastoral Degree in 1991 from Instituto Biblico Magdiel in Matamoros, Mexico as well as a Bachelor of Science in 1997 from Southwestern A/G University in Waxahachie, Texas. I have been a part of our pastoral team at MFA since June of 2010.
I have been also blessed with many opportunities to minister to people of every age, including pastorates in Mexico and Eola, TX, as well as serving as youth and children’s pastor in both San Angelo and Mission, TX. I have also spent several years serving as a campus pastor at UTPA, as well as pioneering a campus ministry at STC. I have done extensive missions work in Spain and Mexico and have ministered in children’s crusades throughout Texas, Mexico, and Spain.
Throughout my years in ministry, my heart has always been, and still is, to see the Gospel presented in a clear and compelling way. I believe strongly in the importance of discipleship for all ages, teaching the practicality of biblical truths and training people in the importance of walking in the power of the Holy Spirit. I have a passion and sense of urgency to reach children at the time when they are building their foundation of values and personal identity. Our children’s ministry here at MFA, Supernatural Kids, is all about helping to build that solid foundation for our kids, while mixing in a good dose of fun!
Speaking of fun, some of my hobbies are shopping and photography. I also enjoy watching movies, with my favorite being Pride and Prejudice. Of course there is more that I could share about myself, but I would love the opportunity to get to know you in person. I hope to see you soon at MFA, a place to call home!
